Hello! I am so excited to be your child's fourth grade teacer! Fourth grade is a lot of learning and a lot of fun! In fourth grade science you will learn about Earth’s landforms and features, energy and motion, and the structures and functions of living things.

We also study Social Studies which the students will about the American Revolution, our government, and immigration.

In Reading we will be studying many genres including fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. We will be writing a feature article and a realistic fiction story. We will also be having really fun writing challenges daily. I love Reading and Writing and hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

In Math we will be working with multiplication, division, geometry, volume, fractions, decimals, algebra and more! We will be working in cooperative groups and individually to develop our skills. Through each subject we will be working together to make our learning fun and meaningful.

I know that you will love fourth grade just as much as I do. I am looking forward to a great year with our class.
