Library & Media Center
The Library & Media Center for Inquiry is a place for our community of scholars to connect ideas to learning the world and beyond through literature.
Our current collection includes books, videos, journals, online resources, and other media outlets that can be explored on our school’s library catalog website 24/7.
The library also supports the IB Learner Profiles and Students Attitudes with books and additional media developing lifelong, global learners who care about themselves and others. We have provided this list on our website as a resource.
We also invite you to go to our Links Tab where you will find additional resources to assist you with researching numerous topics around the world and the universe!!!
Library Policy
Kindergarten – 8th grade students are allowed to check books out from the library; K – 2nd grade students are NOT allowed to take their library books home. Library books are checked out to the student and that student is responsible for the book. If a library book is lost or damaged, the student will owe the library the replacement cost of the book. Students are not allowed to “swap” books with other students. If this happens and the book is lost or damaged, then the student to whom the book is checked out to, will be responsible for damaged/ replacement fees.
Book Fair
Millions of children have discovered books—and a lifelong love of reading—at a Scholastic Book Fair. If you were one of them, you already know the special kind of excitement only we can deliver. We hold 2 Book Fairs each year; one in the fall semester and the second in the spring semester. A portion of the funds are used to purchase books, furniture, and supplies for the St. Anthony Library each year. Details will be forthcoming about each fair as we get closer to the actual event week (e-wallets, special events, volunteer opportunities, etc.).
